Hey! I'm Bea! I'm a nerdy American now living in Australia. I have a pretty big interest in comics, video games, board games, and tabletop rpgs.
I've been part of planning projects like Comic Street (a one day market for Brisbane comic artists right at Queen St Mall) and Heartbeat (a 48-hour game jam about Love, Sex, and Relationships in games). I've also done some media projects such as being a reviewer on 4ZZZ's community radio show, Zed Games and on camera for New Game Plus, also chatting about video games. At the moment i'm working on growing my small business of inclusive enamel pins and stickers. Email me at beabravo.art(@)gmail.com if you'd like to chat more! |

In 2019 to the present, I've reviewed games and conducted interviews for New Game Plus TV .
During November 2019 - January 2020 I worked on Speaking Simulator's social media campaign. During this time I used Sprout Social to monitor the game's Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages. I also used Sprout Social to schedule posts to all three social media sites in advance. I created content for each platform, posted updates to Steam and Discord, created and uploaded Nintendo Switch News, and designed an enamel pin.
In 2018 I worked with Lumi Interactive on their mobile title Critter Clash. I did a variety of work for them during my three month contract with them. I created lists of youtube personalities that were similar to the game they were putting out, sent out emails to press, created promotional social media images, and did Player Support.
Heart Beat was a 48-hour Game Jam set in Byron Bay, NSW with a focus on Love, Sex, and Relationships in games. For the game-jam we had several speakers on Day 1 talk about a variety of topics such as psychology and music. Afterwards over 40 participants were randomly paired up and put into groups to make a game in 48-hours. There were also workshops that were held during the weekend for people to voluntarily participate in.
For my part of jam itself I helped with Social Media, made illustrations for content, helped with selection of applicants, and was a figure for people to come to during the event if anyone was uncomfortable.

From 2016-2017 I was a co-host of Brisbane's 4zzz Radio show Zed Games. During this time I reviewed video games that I had played as well as conducted interviews at events such as PAX Aus. Give it a listen!
In 2017 I co-founded Comic Street, an indie comics market in the heart of the Brisbane CBD. For one day we had 40 local and interstate artists set-up in Brisbane's Queen Street Mall selling their independently made comics, illustrations, and merchandise. I was involved for 3 events in 2017 and 2018. My tasks were social media updates, getting payment for tables, assigning artists placement, setting-up on the day of.
